What would the best diet plan ever be like? Better than all the other diet plans, this diet plan would not require counting calories, wouldn't be strictly low carb, neither low fat or even high protein! The best diet plan ever is probably a natural diet plan.
That’s right; a diet doesn’t have to be difficult. It just has to be effective. All the popular diet plans such as the Atkins diet, Zone diet or the Perricone prescription require a lot of work and don't always guarantee results.
Popular diet plans are often ineffective
Popular diet plans very often make you work really hard. You have to make a huge effort to follow the diet plan. This effort has the effect that you actually do have a lower calorie intake, with some weight loss as a result. But it’s a diet which you can’t follow for the rest of your life! It’s just to time consuming!
So what would the best diet plan ever look like?
The best diet plan is one you can follow for the rest of your life. When you know how this natural diet plan works and you have some dedication to succeed, you can’t fail with it. You won’t ever be counting calories (unlike with many other diet plans, such as weight watchers which makes you count points endlessly). The optimal diet plan allows you to make time for other things in life which are more important. To learn this natural diet plan, you should understand two very important basic weight loss concepts:

#1 All calories are created equal
It doesn’t matter if your calories come from fats, protein or carbohydrates. Consuming 100 calories from fat or 100 calories from carbohydrates doesn’t make any difference. They will both make you gain or lose just as much weight, because they provide the exact same amount of energy. Popular diet plans advocate either protein, fat or carbohydrates. Every energy source has its own beneficial purpose and they should not be avoided deliberately. Chosing the right sources and balancing the different macronutrient ratios, however, is important.
#2 The sources from which you get your calories are not created equal.
A natural diet should be one that tastes good, makes you feel full and satisfied and is good for your overall health. Many types of food can accomplish this (fiber rich foods, unprocessed foods, vegetables, fruit…) . Many other food sources do the exact opposite. They will not only damage your immune system, they will also make you feel hungry all the time (fast foods, processed foods or empty calorie foods which do not provide any nutrients besides calories).
The best diet plan will make you feel satisfied faster and as a result, make you eat less, consume less calories and eventually lose weight. When you understand these principles and work on developing your knowledge of what foods are good and which are bad, you have pretty much reached your goal: to eat healthy your whole life long and as a result, be healthy.
